School ID's

School IDs continue to be distributed to our students and are part of the Student Uniform Policy.  Students who fail to bring their ID to school and/or not wear their ID's will be disciplined.  A $3 replacement fee will be charged for lost or stolen IDs.

Arrival/Dismissal

Breakfast starts at 8:10 a.m.  Please do not send your child to school before that time.

  • Please use the front circle drive to drop off and pick up your child before and after school.  If you pick up your child(ren) after school, please wait in line in the circle drive and follow the flow of traffic.   This is for the students’ safety.  Please wait outside for your child.  Do not go to the classroom.  Do not park in the back of school.  This area needs to be clear for buses and staff.

  • All students who walk to school need to report to the North (front)of the gym/cafeteria to be let in.  Students who walk to school and eat breakfast need to report to the gym/cafeteria before 8:30.

  • Please review the enclosed bus schedule to locate your child’s bus stop and pick up time.  School transportation is a privilege and is not to be abused.  Please stress to your child the importance of staying in his/her assigned bus seat and keeping his/her hands to themselves inside the bus.  If a child continually misbehaves on the bus, suspension from the bus is likely.  Bus schedules are also available on the district website for your convenience.

  • Please notify the office by 11:00 a.m. if you have arranged for different transportation.  The sooner you let the office know the better.  Safety is our top priority.

PBIS Expectations - March

PBIS Expectations

Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe

March’s PBIS Goal is to stay under 115 MAJOR referrals.  If the students can do this they will earn an ice cream party!

The 3rd Quarter PBIS Goal is to not receive a Major nor a Minor referral.  Any Huffman student who can achieve this goal will be rewarded with a Day at the Movies!

I know Huffman students can attain both of these goals.   Please continue to stress the importance of being responsible, respectful, and safe with your child(ren).
